Arsenal has lost yet another important cup match against Manchester United last night. The game was in Old Traffod. This was more than a game for Arsenal as they had to win this game to cover all the expenses that we bore at the match against Barcelona.
This two weeks has been a dreadful nightmare to Arsenal; so many players have injured and more importantly we have been knocked out from all three Cup games. Luck did not favored us. We are at second position in the Barclays Premier League a game in hand and 3 points gap between Manchester United and us.
Just 10 games to go and we are not sure for Premier League title. We still have games against away game against Tottenham and home games with Liverpool and Manchester United. Can we come back from this situation?
talking to the today,s match Manchester United flooded their players at back and middle part of the field. They let Arsenal attack and so did Arsenal players with conscience effort but none of their shots fulfilled their desire. There were several attacks by Arsenal and had better position than Manchester United but none of them sums their tally up. Arsenal purely lacked their captain Fabregas and right winger Theo Walcott. they could be the saviors of Arsenal but injury had picked them before. Fabregas and Theo Walcott were both caught in Stoke City's match.
Manchester United was playing at extra defensive stance and Arsenal was attacking with full menace. the defensive line of Arsenal was weak. The game, some of the players played was outstanding. They were doing their best to keep Arsenal out of trouble but some of the players were at dilemma. Who game them permission to be squad member?
You must have spirit to win, but some of the players were losing their mind out there. They seemed they were playing for Manchester United and not for Arsenal. So many missed passes in the such important match can certainly lead a team into disastrous loss.
Players Ratings:
Alumina-(7): I think he has come back from his last suspension. He was good at Barcelona's game and yesterday too. He just need a good support from defenders and he can be the saviors for Arsenal. He saved many shots.
Sagna-(6.5): he was better today, good crosses and strong defensive attack but the strikers could not find him.
Djourou-(7.5): The most valuable player of Arsenal in that match. Deep defensive coverage but he alone could do nothing for 11 players out there.
Koscielny-(6.5): He was solid like rock and had some clear chances to score but Van Der Saar was there to stop his shots.
K Gibbs-(3): He truly lacked experience and team spirit. Nothing seemed better from him.
Wilshire-(7): Once again the youngster wave magic in the game but his time he alone could do no thing. He was better and created many chances for his mates but nobody took those chances. Well played.
Denilson-(3): Who gave him permission to play in that game. He must be sold this summer. Not a single pass was clear and precise. He seemed as if he was playing for Manchester United. Arsene Wenger chose wrong player. He must have picked Aron Ramsey.
Diaby-(3.5): This is not a bull fight man. This is a football match. Come on Arsene Wenger, show some courage to choose some bright players. There are many on the bench.
Nasri-(7): After his suspension from injury he is unable to pick the pace that he was driving before injury. Although he played well. Many shots on target but unfortunately not a single goal by him.We had expected more from him.
Robin Van Persie-(6.5): He had some good chances but not well taken. He was surrounded by the Manchester's players all the time. He did not get clear shots on target today. Although he had some skills in dribbling and passing.
Arshavin-(6)- Some misplaced passes but overall he was better than before.
Subs:
Chamakh(5.5) replace Denilson and played well at his position. He had some skill moves and passes but none of them were taken.Rosicky(5.5) joined the game after half time. The time he played was good and he created chances and had some shots on target. He should have replaced Diaby from first. Aron Ramsey must have replaced Gibbs from first. He would have played better than him.
The next game is with West Broom Albion in their home next Saturday. Hope we win the game and equalize with the leader of Premier League.We are 3 points behind Manchester United with a game in hand. If we win the game we would be in level.
Arsenal must with the match against W.B.A to be in the title race. Hope they win this time.
