Arsenal has rejected a " £34M-plus-Bojan or Thiago" bid for midfielder Cesc Fabregas.
Barcelona who wants to sign Arsenal skipper Cesc Fabregas has failed again to meet Arsenal expectation. Barcelona had offered Thiago and Bojan with £34 millions but Arsenal have asked £45 millions without other players involved.
Cesc, who wanted to join his home club would be free unless Arsene Wenger find his exact value from Barcelona. He would rather want some more cash from Barcelona instead of some middle class players like Bojan and Thiago.
Arsenal is currently holding good position at midfield and they need to rectify some defensive and attacking sides. Van Persie alone seems unable to carry out the ball. Since Oxlade Chamberlain and Girvinho are joining Arsenal, Bojan would not be needed for Arsenal on wing. We have lots of midfielders talented and young. Jack Wiltshire and Aron Ramsey are doing good at midfield. Arsenal at this stage doesn't want Thiago in midfield. If Arsenal could bring Parker from West Ham, he would fulfill the gap of Fabregas, if he leaves.
It is more liable to Arsene Wenger to ask more money for such world class player. He worths more than £34 millions. Apart from heavy links from Barcelona, there are more clubs like Manchester City and Real Madrid willing to sign Cesc. Cesc in other hand wants to join either Barcelona or simply carry out his job at Arsenal.
Let him go at any amount because last season he was available but Arsenal did not lift any cup!
ReplyDeleteYes, he was available and we didn't lift up any cups but he is one of the most consistent player in the world. Look at his through passes, but the guy has attitude which is letting him degrade his performance...
ReplyDeleteWhy not Thiago? He's rated as the best youngster in the Barcelona squad, certainly would replace Fabregas seamlessly. Given his status he would easily be worth £20million or so, bumps the transfer value up to £50million.
ReplyDeleteYou can choose yourself between Parker from West Ham or Thiago from Barcelona. Parker is an experienced player and if we could sign him it would be better.
ReplyDeleteWe have already two young players Jack and Ramsey in the squad and 1 should hold the midfield, an experienced midfielder that can control the game...
thiago has already stated he wants to stay at barca, and bojan is not needed.
ReplyDeleteI really think the best deal we could get out of barca would be afellay+30 mil, or afellay+maxwell+20/25 mil
I don't think Pep Guardiola would swap Afellay and Maxwell with Fabregas with 25/30 mil because they are doing good at Barca.
ReplyDeleteIt would be better if Arsene Wenger choose only cash because there are more talented players around.
I would take 35 million + Afellay. A proper winger on the left could work wonders for the Gunners. If Cesc wants to go, let him go, there is no point in keeping a player whose heart is not in the game.
ReplyDelete"There is no point in keeping a player whose heart is not in the game."
ReplyDeleteWell said mate.
If fabregas leaves Arsenal, we need some one more commanding midfielder like Parker, I guess. Afellay is good but we have Oxlade Chamberlain and Gervinho coming into the squad so I don't think Affelay would be better replacement for Cesc.
I prefer we let Cesc go for the £45m and use part of the money to buy Chalie Adams of black pool, pair him with Alex(Song) and push Jack Wilshire up the attacking mid field role.
ReplyDeleteGood Idea mate...
ReplyDeleteIf not Parker from West Ham, we could have Charlie Adams from Blackpool and we have Aron Ramsey and Jack and Song so that we can play more attacking..

Its advisable to let CESC go if he want to leave. There is no point keeping him at Emirate. May be Prof. will provide reason why is keeping him. Since our philosophy has not change on youth development, i think Bojan is OK. Afellay is a new signing they may not use him to bargain. Let Prof analyze his investment on Cesc using Profitability Index and NPV
ReplyDelete"Cesc does not belongs to Arsenal" ,says Barcelona fans...
ReplyDeleteThere is no point in keeping him at Arsenal.
Let him go.
Just like Arsene Wenger developed Fabregas, he will develop another young player...
Go! Go!! GO!!! CESC but Nasri should stay.
