Arsenal offered £30 million to Saurez but not enough says Brendan Rodgers

Brendan Rodgers has declined £30 million bid from Arsenal for Saurez but admits he will let go Saurez only if he receives right amount.

Arsenal are recently linked with Rooney and Saurez, both unsatisfied at their respective clubs has given a hope to gooners to see a superstar playing for Arsenal this season.

Want-away players,  Rooney and Saurez are both available in transfer market but Wenger needs to step up and splash some extra amount to these players, if he wants to win some trophies this season. However he has told to press that Arsenal can now afford Rooney and has assured all the fans to give a couple of big names before transfer window shuts down.

Rooney admits he is not happy with his current situation at Manchester United as he will be losing his position in David Moyes's game plan. Newly appointed manager David Moyes is planning to play him as a substitute for Robin Van Persie which is why he is not happy at United. In addition to Arsene Wenger has told press that money is not the problem anymore to land Rooney to Emirates. So who will he bring this summer????

Everyone of us know that Saurez wants to play in Champions League and even Brendan Rodgers is willing to release Saurez only if he receives around £35 to £40  million. It is up to Arsene Wenger which player to sign because he has £70 million this summer. Football pundits have guessed Saurez would be a better addition to Arsene's team than Rooney, however its the boss who can make all these things happen. He has urged all the fans to remain calm and he will disclose couple of  names in the end of this month.

Breaking News: Napoli Signed Rafael from Santos not Arsenal target Julio Cesar

Napoli football Club have officially announced signing Rafael from Santos, which means Arsenal are definitely into the race to sign Julio Cesar.

After long speculation of Julio Cesar joining Napoli this summer, the rumor has finally ended today as Napoli signed Brazilian goalkeeper Rafael from Santos.

Satos Goalkeeper Rafael has joined Napoli
This news has finally made Arsenal fans more relieved as they were heavily linked with Arsenal target Julio Cesar this summer but ended up signing another goalie. Its now a win win situation for Arsenal to sign 33 years old Brazilian goalkeeper from QPR.

Julio Cesar to Arsenal seems more probable after Napoli signed Rafael

Five Reasons that Julio Cesar will be playing for Arsenal this Season

  1. Julio Cesar is a top goalkeeper and most of us can assume that he is not going to play for relegated team QPR this season. He will definitely move to new club and Arsenal are the most suitable club for him now.
  2. Arsenal have already sold our third “Choice Keeper” Vito Mannone and it is sure Wenger will bring someone to replace him.
  3. Napoli were the biggest competitor for Arsenal and were found inquiring about Julio Cesar but they signed Rafael which means Arsenal are now favorite to land Julio Cesar this season.
  4. Julio Cesar was found taking about his future that he wants to stay at London, which can also be the hint that Arsenal have already approached him to sign in.
  5. Arsene Wenger in yesterday's press conference stated that he wants quality not quantity this summer. Julio Cesar who recently won the best goalkeeper award in Confederation Cup is certainly a class. He has already won major trophies with Inter Milan. Maybe he was referring to him and other new experienced players.

5 Players Likely to Join Arsenal this Month

Another twist and turn in Arsene's regime at Arsenal as several players have been linked with Arsenal, yet no
concrete news about signing new players has shown up. Arsene Wenger's contract expires next year and Arsenal Chief Executive Ivan Gazidis has given a green signal to extend his contract further.

There was a time when the Mighty Arsenal were afraid of no one; not even Manchester United and Liverpool dared to match against our force. But in previous season, we were easily outplayed by clubs like Bradford, Blackburn, Wigan, Swansea etc.

I know he is totally into his responsibilities but due to financial restriction which the club is facing, has always affected in transfer market. We were hugely linked with Mario Gotze, Juan Mata, Hazard, Villa, M'Villa etc but we ended up signing players like Gervinho, Chamakh, Santos, Giroud etc. We have already been linked with the players like Higuain, Fellaini, Rooney, Julio Cesar, Marco Reus, Luis Saurez, Benteke, Matt Hummels etc but below are the list of players expected to join Arsenal this season.

Listed of Expected players to join Arsenal this summer

1. Gonzalo Higuain (Probability: 8/10)

Higuain

Although his agent and his dad have already given permission for him to join Arsenal this summer, there are still things going on between these 2 clubs which is why taking more time than usual. Probability of Signing Higuain is almost sure.

2. Fellaini (Probability: 6/10)

We were defensively poor and we conceded many goals from set pieces last season and addition of Fellaini will definitely make our defensive wall much more stronger. After David Moyes left Everton, Fellaini looks more of joining top 4 Premier League teams and Arsenal are one of the favorites for him to join this season. Sources have claimed that he wants bigger challenge which definitely means Champions League and his ex-team mate, Mikel Arteta could be a reason for him to join Arsenal this summer.

3. Julio Cesar (8.5/10)

Julio Cesar
Julio Ceaser to Arsenal seems more likely to happen as QPR are already relegated to 2nd Division and no top players like him wants to play for 2nd Division team. As he was found talking about his career that he doesn't want to go outside London which definitely means he wants move to Emirates. Moreover, our 3rd choice keeper Vitto Mannone has joined Sunderland for long term deal, therefore it looks more likely for Arsenal to sign this Brazilian Keeper this season.

4. Bernard (Probability: 7.5/10)

Bernard

Bernard is the possible replacement for want-away winger Gervinho who may join AS Roma this month. And sources have reported that Arsenal will soon approach Atletico Meneiro for long term deal. He is technically gifted and plays like Gervinho and Arshavin.

5. Ashley Williams (Probability: 7/10)

Ashley Williams
Ashley Williams will be a great addition for Arsneal as Arsene Wenger has already offloaded our reserve defender Squallaci and Vermaelen too is injured. It seems more likely for Wales Captain to join Arsenal as sources have confirmed he too wants to play in Champions League.

However internal source has confirmed Arsene's got 100 millions to spend this summer. If we can bring these players, we can sure fight for trophies this season.

5 reasons why Arsenal should Sell Robin Van Persie

Robin Van Persie has officially denied to renew his contract with Arsenal which last till 30/06/2013, approximately 11 months from now.

28 years old Dutch International, who will turn to 29 from 6th of August is an injury prone player.
Robin Van Persie's Injury history.

5 reasons why Arsenal should sell Robin Van Persie:

  1. Injury Prone:
Robin Van Persie had 1 injury free good season and he thinks he's one of the finest strikers in the world. He's injury prone and 1 good season from him doesn't mean we can expect similar seasons in coming days. It's time to offload injury prone players like him.

  2. Arsenal Youth Policy:
Robin Van Persie who turns to 29 next month will probably have 2-3 good seasons in his career. Wenger needs to sign some talented young striker like 23 years old Polish International Lewandowski who's young and affordable.

  3. Good Business:
Robin Van Persie is in his peak form and it will be a good business to sell 29 years old striker to richer clubs like Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus or Barcelona at right price. It's been reported that Van Persie's been offered 30 M by Manchester City. If that is true why not sell Robin Van Persie and bring some clinical striker like Stevan Jovetic, Llorente or Lewandowski at half the price we sell Van Persie. We can even strengthen our Left back and Midfield position with remaining money.
  4. Disrespectful to Arsenal F.C:
According to his official website he said Arsenal needs to impress him by buying some world class players. We survived to top 4 even when we had no Theirry Henry, Reyes, Bergkamp, Patrick Vieira, Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy etc. I have faith in Arsene Wenger that even if Van Persie leaves Arsenal we will finish above Spurs and Chelsea. Who the hell he is to teach Arsene Wenger run Arsenal FC which he has been running successfully with young players.
I wonder if he is complaining Arsenal board to change Arsenal Manger "Arsene Wenger."
The man who brought him to Arsenal is now questioning over Wenger's youth policy, his strategy and his professionalism. He must have forgotten the truth that when Wenger brought him to Arsenal he was young 20 years old kid.
  5. Dutch Jinx:
No hard feelings to Dutch supporters but Robin Van Persie's side has not won anything since 2005 ever since he started playing regularly for Arsenal FC.

It's just my view, nothing more. I am sorry to Van Persie's supporters to be rude as i am just showing my frustration to his decision.

Transfer Rumor: "Arsenal playmaker Alex Song linked with Inter Milan!!!"

Alex Song has been repeatedly linked with Italian Giants Inter Milan.

Arsenal Ace Alex Song has cancelled down speculation of linking with Italian giant Inter Milan.

Italian giants Inter Milan have been reported to sign Arsenal midfielder Alex Song this summer but Alex Song has told to press that he has no intention to leave Arsenal and these news are all rumor.

Alex Song's agent, Mongai has told that he has not received any kinds of emails or telephone calls from Inter Milan yet and these news linked with Alex Song are only rumors.
He added, "Alex Song is one of the main players in Arsenal. He is the back bone of Arsenal. He has to play 2 more years for Arsenal, according to his contract and I don't think Arsenal will allow us to even link him with other clubs."
24 years old, Cameroonian International is one of the best defensive midfielders in Europe who has already acquired 11 assists and a goal in his name this season.

Alex Song has still 2 and half years remaining in his contract with Arsenal and Arsenal who had signed him from Bastia 7 years ago is keen to offer him a long term contract.

Also, Inter Milan club director Marco has also told that though Alex Song is one of the best midfielders in Europe, they have not planned anything like that to bring him in Inter.

So all those transfer rumors linked with Alex Song are finally now over. Alex Song will never leave Arsenal not at least for 4-5 years.

On-Loan Arsenal Striker Carlos Vela keen to stay Spain permanently

Carlos Vela keen stay in Spain permanently
Today on transfer gossips, we have Arsenal on-loan striker Carlos Vela.

23 years old Mexican Striker, Vela has urged Arsenal to permit him to stay in Spain permanently. His current club Real Sociedad has shown interest in signing him permanently however another Spanish club Real Betis have had transfer talks with Arsenal.

Arsenal, who are on the verse to sign Podolski next season, might not need Vela next season but he is better then Chamakh and Bendtner. He has netted 11 goals and 8 assists in 30 appearances from Real Sociedad this season. With that better goal scoring record then other Arsenal strikers like Chamakh, Park Chu Young and Bendtner, he deserves to in Arsenal squad. Though he can't replace Van Persie in starting 11, he still can be Arsenal second choice striker.

3 reasons why Vela made his decision to stay in Spain

1. His nationality; he is a Mexican and speaks Spanish so it is easy for him to cope with in Spain then in England.
2. He is a regular starter in Real Sociedad. He won't join Arsenal to be a bench-warmer for sure.
3. Real Sociedad has promised to increase his  monthly income, if he signs a long term contract with Real Sociedad. (He currently earns about 30-35k monthly)

Fabianski to leave Arsenal this summer

Fabianski is set to leave Arsenal on loan or permanently this summer.

Fabianski- "Put me in the Starting 11 or I will leave the Club."

Arsenal second choice goalkeeper has hinted this could be his last season with Arsenal. His team mate Szczesny, who overtook his spot after he got injured last season, has been outstanding goalkeeper in Premier League with 12 clean-sheets this season.

Also Manuel Almunia is set to leave Arsenal on free this summer. Arsenal also have emerging young goalkeeper Damian Martinez on line yet to play for Arsenal and it's been reported that Arsenal are eyeing to land Birmingham young talented goalkeeper Jack Butland this summer.

With another goalie Vito Mannone on loan to Hull city who will return Arsenal in summer, its more likely the former Arsenal first choice goalkeeper Fabianski will leave Arsenal this summer on loan or permanently.

5 reasons why Clint Dempsey wont join Arsenal this summer

Clint Dempsey not made for Arsenal.

5 Reasons why Clint Dempsey wont join Arsenal

1. It seems Arsenal have more than 90% chance of signing Podolski this summer and its obvious Wenger will not buy another striker as we know how mean he is when it comes on spending money on new players. Also he have already stated, "I will add quality not quantity".

2. On-loan players like Carlos Vela, Nicklas Bendtner and Ryo Miyachi will return Arsenal next season. Also we have Chamakh, Park Chu Young and Gervinho fighting for starting 11. Why would Arsene Wenger buy another striker?

3. Clint Dempsey has his contract with Fulham until 2013. He is the top scorer with 22 goals in 33 appearances for Fulham this season and he is progressing well in Fulham and is a regular starter. So, why would he join Arsenal just to be another bench-warmer?

4. Fulham manager, Martin Jol had extended Clint Dempsey's contract in 2009 until 2013 and he will try his best to keep the American International to the club. He is happy with his parent club Fulham and it is for sure Dempsey will not leave Fulham to any other club, at least not to Arsenal for sure.

5. Clint Dempsey had joined Fulham in 2007. It's been 5 years since he joined Fulham from New England Revolution FC. Like Robin Van Persie is Arsenal fans favorite, Dempsey is Fulham fans favorite. Also, Arsene Wenger would never spent  £10 millions on the American International because Arsenal have many similar players like him already on the bench.

Sochaux is at 19th position in the Ligue 1. It is for sure he will leave Sochaux in next summer transfer window. But where? Arsenal is one of the other clubs closely monitoring his situation. Arsene Wenger would love to give another French player a chance at Arsenal.

He was the most valuable player back in 2010/11 season in Sochaux who lead his team to Europa League but at the moment they have completely lost their momentum as they are 2nd from last in Relegation zone.

Transfer Rumor: Arsenal Target Stephane Sessegnon

Sessegnon has been a  more clinical this season for Sunderland under Martin O'Neill scoring  7 goals and 9 assists in 27 appearances.

Arsenal new target Sessegnon confirmed.
Arsene Wenger is one of the top admirers among other Premier League clubs managers including Kenny Dalglish and Harry Redknapp.

The Benin International is struggling to adapt the North East part of England but Sunderland Manager Martin O'Neill has hinted he could loose Sessegnon due to Homesickness.

Martin O'Neill has clearly mentioned that Sunderland have 50-50 chance to keep him. In other hand, Arsene Wenger has hinted he would add quality not quantity in Arsenal squad this summer. The 27 years old Benin International has been sensational this season and would be a great asset for Arsenal next season.

Arsenal top target Podolski snubbed Manchester United offer to join Arsenal

Lukas Podolski has snubbed United deal to join Arsenal

Arsenal cement £11m deal with FC Klon striker Lukas Podolski.

The German International has rejected a deal from Manchester United. It has been reported that he will earn at least  £5.2 million a year in Arsenal.

The current Premier League champions Manchester United has recently offered a new deal to Arsenal top target Lukas Podolski but the German International has rejected the deal to move to Arsenal this summer. It is said Arsene Wenger has lured him to join Arsenal this summer because he can speak German fluently.

26 years old Klon striker has spent 3 years with Bayern Munich before joining his home club FC Klon in 2009. His move to Arsenal was to finalize within this week but the German side is set to hold this deal as they are still struggling to get out of the relegation zone in the Bundesliga.

Arsenal full back Per Mertesacker is said to be the main reason for Cologne striker to join Arsenal as both of them are German International and Mertesaker has told him he would love North London.

Arsenal new target Barcelona defender Abidal confirmed

Eric Abidal in Barcelona Shirt

Arsene Wenger has confirmed interest on Barcelona defender Eric Abidal. He is keen to bid at least  £4.1 million for 32 year old defender.

In mean time, Arsenal lack defender as Thomas Vermeelan, Jenkinson, Coquelin, Sagna, Kieran Gibbs are all injured. Coquelin who was naturally a midfielder was filling left back position but he too got injured in FA Cup clash against Leeds.

Arsene Wenger must sign a new defender this season or the same old story will repeat again. It was same condition last season after almost all starting 11 were injured and there were none to replace them. If Arsenal could sign Abidal in £4.1 million, it would be a cheap but important signing.

Contract talks has been stalled between player and the club right now but he has enough time to decide whether to stay at Barcelona or move to North London.

Abidal who is 32 years old had an operation in liver in March, 2011 is filling in Pique and Puyol, who have both been ruled out due to injury. If Abidal makes his decision to play from North London Club Arsenal, he is still expected to play good for few years.

Arsenal after "Romanian Messi" Tojre

Arsenal is tracking Udinese starlet Gabriel Tojre but it has been informed that the Italian team will need atleast £20 for "Romanian Messi".

The 21 years old, right winger plays similar football like Lionel Messi who joined Udinese on August 20, 2011 from Dinamo Bucuresti for 5 years. It is said that the transfer fee was around €10m.

Gabriel Tojre would be an ideal replacement for Chamakh, if he leaves the club this summer to PSG.
