Arsenal Center Defender Thomas Vermeelan was out since September 2010 in the match against Belgium due to Achilles injury. The 8 months gap was really annoying as Arsenal had series of up and downs during his absence. Indeed during his presence the club had progressed a lot and moreover the club had positioned to 1st for some weeks.
The 25 years old Arsenal star was more likely to be sidelined for the couple of week from the first team squad after his recovery on his Achilles injury but the Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has decided that the Vermeelan would be playing for Arsenal in the match against Manchester United.
On Arsenal Online TV, Arsene Wenger had told,
"We dont have Abou Diaby but Thomas Vermeelan would be in the team starting 11 for the match against Manchester United. Thomas was out for 8 months due to Achilles injury but he has fully recovered from the injury and he had started his training before one and a half months and he fit and fine for the battle.
Thomas Vermeelan is a nice player. A enthusiastic player I have ever seen. He is good at set piece during free kick and corner. He will have his final fitness test on Saturday and I am determined for Thomas Vermeelan to put him on the match against Manchester United. He would be taking place of DJourou, the center right defensive position.
The Arsenal needs solid 3 points to be on the track for glory. The last chance for Arsenal.
Will Arsenal show some heroic magics in the end of the season?
Does presence of Thomas Vermeelan going to make any difference for the club?
