Will Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger leave Arsenal?
Will Pep Guardiola join Arsenal next season?
Arsenal has not won a single cup for 6 years; not since the Arsenal came to Emirates Stadium. Arsene Wenger who has been managing Arsenal for 15 years is the longest serving manager in Arsenal history. Arsene Wenger who had joined Arsenal in 1996 was successful till 2005. Three times Premier league winner with 3 times best manager awarded in his life time has been out of winning track.
6 years trophy-less season is a long time to ensure a post for manager although he had showed some magic before by winning FA Cup and Premier League on same season. But the thing is Arsenal needs changes. Many other managers and football legends have been found saying about Arsene Wenger that he should change his tactics to be in the winning track or otherwise these trophy-less seasons would never stop.
With a recent news linked with Pep Guardiola, he has shown his interest on Arsenal. He has expanded his contract only to 2012 and is finding some English Clubs to rest. Arsenal could be his best option in the point of view from playing style and due to unsuccessful regime of Arsene Wenger in his past 6 years.
He would be the perfect manager for Arsenal after Arsene Wenger because since he has joined Barcelona in 2008 he has been a successful manager for Barcelona but he want to taste English Premier League.
In a press conference he had told that,
"I am happy at Barcelona but you know to be football manager in such big club for such long period would be not possible. Since 2008 the next season would be mine 4th consecutive season at Barcelona and I have extended my contract till 2012. I have already made my plan to leave Barcelona and sooner or later another manager would be handling Barcelona.
Ever since i made my plan to leave Barcelona I have been interested in Arsenal. We have almost same playing speed, tactics and almost same categorized players. I would really prefer some English Clubs after my contract is over here at Barcelona and Arsenal would always be my first choice."
Arsenal managing board would be looking forward for change in the club after this season as it has been confirmed that Arsenal would again face yet another trophy-less season this year too. Carling Cup lost against Birmingham, FA Cup Quarter Final lost against Manchester United, UEFA Championship Quarter Final lost against Barcelona and currently at 3rd position in Premier League with 9 points behind Manchester United has confirmed Arsenal would again end this season with no trophies to the home.
